In the next version of Document Controller it will be possible to automatically convert issued MS Word Documents into PDF's, this means when the document is at the Draft or Under Review stage a limited number of people are able to view\edit the MS Word document, however when the document is issued (which generally means a wider audience has access to the document) it can be automatically converted to a PDF meaning it is not possible for anyone to download the attachment from the application and make changes.

Once the next revision of the document is created (again access to this document is only limited to a small number of people) the document reverts to MS Word.
